DAYLIGHT Beach Club has quite the treat for partygoers on Saturday, Sept. 16 and Sunday, Sept. 17. Not only will we be celebrating Mexican Independence Day on the 16 (and all weekend long, for that matter) but a big-time fight between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez will also be going down. We plan on celebrating both events the only way we know how to — in style, which should feature champagne showers, fun in the sun and amazing tunes.
Summer might be coming to an end faster than we would like, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go out with a bang.
Just to get an idea of how big of a fight Golovkin vs. Alvarez is, check out what Oscar De La Hoya, Chairman and CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, had to say about it:
“For the best fight on the best date in boxing, there is no better venue than the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas,” said De La Hoya. “Fans won’t only be treated to a classic battle between the two best boxers in the sport, they will also be able to enjoy an incredible week of activities marking Mexican Independence Day. This will be a can’t-miss event for hardcore and casual fans, alike.”
If Ludacris and Rick Ross were the only events going on during the weekend, then it would still be a can’t-miss Vegas weekend. After all, both artists have been unleashing fire tracks ever since they entered the music game, and the chart histories of Ludacris and Rick Ross really do say it all.
